Futuristic Ramadan

The mobile system has built in Ramadan month for any year.

It is based on Moon Sighting and uses the usual method of moon sighting , which is the age of the moon should be more than 14 hours , should be above the horizon , the brightness of the sky should be around 21.9 mag/arcsec²;.

However in March 2025 , the moon which was just 4 hours old was seen when the sky had an illumination of over 35 mag/arcsec²;. Probably this was accomplished using some advanced optical tools.

Please while using the future calendar bear this in mind. The calendar could be off by a day.

Futuristic Events

Some of the futuristic events depends on Moon Sighting , Please use the date with deference.

It is our responsibility to update the program as and when such occurs. Please do lookout for program update from time to time.

New Moon Sighting Condition:

During a new moon, the moon is between the Earth and the Sun, meaning the side facing Earth is not illuminated by the sun.

Sun's Brightness:

The sun's light is incredibly bright, and the scattered light from the sun in the daytime sky makes it difficult to see faint objects like a very young, thin crescent moon.

Visibility Window:

The moon is visible in daylight nearly every day, except close to the new moon when it's too close to the sun to be visible and close to the full moon when it's only visible at night.

Time After New Moon:

Naked-eye sightings of a very young moon are possible, but typically require waiting at least 15-24 hours after the new moon for the moon to move far enough away from the sun.

Factors Affecting Visibility:

Factors like clear skies, unobstructed horizons, and knowing where to look can also influence your ability to see a young moon.

Compass not working. : If you're finding that the compass function isn't working on your mobile device, the first thing to check is if your device even has a magnetometer sensor, which is necessary for compass functionality. If it does, try calibrating the compass, which can often resolve issues.
